  • Level: Class is open to intermediate speakers to advanced speakers who want extended conversation in Spanish. Student should be comfortable carrying on varied conversations.

In 8 class meetings we will practice our Spanish through the discussion of the week’s reading and Nicaraguan & Central American culture in general.

Sergio Ramirez Mercado is a Nicaraguan writer who served in the Sandinista government and as Vice President of the country 1985-1990 during the democratic presidency of Daniel Ortega.
