Yulupa School – Spanish Program

Fridays 2:25-3:20pm – Spanish Classes for Children (1st to 3rd Grade)

Engage your students with the Spanish language! Let your children enjoy their language learning and appreciate culture through Hispanic themed songs, poetry, art, games, role-playing and other age-appropriate activities. They will have fun with cultural activities while in a supportive environment gaining confidence in their new foreign language.

Spring Session: Apr 4 – May 30

Cost: $167 (sibling $150)

Location: Room 9

Your instructor: Guadalupe, a native of the Bajio region of México, has been teaching Spanish to children and young adults in this area since 2003. She is part of the El Día de los Muertos, Petaluma committee and in 2011 was among seven individuals named as Latino community leaders in Petaluma by the Argus Courier. She leads the Colors of Spanish team and holds a Master’s Degree in Spanish, with a focus on early age acquisition of foreign language. Her classes encourage creativity, energy and the spirit of play!

Procedures & Family Responsibilities:

  • To register: Please fill out the registration online  and mention ‘Yulupa School’. A follow up email will have payment instructions.
  • Start of Class: After school your students will go to the designated class location. The instructor will meet up with them there at 2:25 pm.
  • End of Class: Parents (or indicated guardians) need to pick up their students. Please be sure to be on time as our instructor has additional classes to teach.
  • Release of Children: If anyone other than yourself or spouse will be picking up your children, please send us their name and phone number. We will not be checking identification, but will not release children unless they are recognized as the designated contact person by your child.

All materials will be provided by the instructor.
