Club de Lectura is for those students who already have some Spanish fluency, whether from a native Spanish speaking family or enrolled in a Dual Immersion program.

In each meeting, we will read, interpret, analyze, and make conclusions based on short readings. This class is designed to help the student develop skills in order to be critical and reflexive readers.

Our monthly membership will include the book, mailed to each participating student:

A Circle Time Story for Kids and Toddlers in Spanish

“One sunny morning, Bear wakes up with the desire to go out and play. Bear’s mom, tells him that first he needs to change his clothes. Bear is confused about what type of clothing he should be using for a warm day. His mother helps to look for appropriate clothes.” This activity gives students the opportunity to familiarize themselves according to the weather. Excellent for integrating during a Preschool circle time.
